A good day for a ski with my brother between the granite islands of Avvajja --- but as you can see, he left me eating his snow! Avvajja is just northwest of Igloolik, and is a popular spot for skiing and sliding (toboganning, to us southerners. Although sometimes there is no toboggan involved, just your behind and your windpants!) in the winter, and kayaking in the summer.
